My name offline is Charlotte. I'm a fifteen-year-old Chinese/Taiwanese-American, born on the fifteenth of July in 1989. I was born in Southern California and still live there at present. I am somewhat fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English; I am very unfluent in Latin.
I have a little brother and two parents.
I am a sophomore in high school, trying to fight my way through a Tech/IB program. My IQ is not particularly amazing and I have near to no common sense, but I get by.
I no longer consider myself an atheist, but I do not subscribe to any religion and will bite you if you try to convert me. I don't appreciate people who butt their way into my business and I don't trust easily. You are advised not to feel offended if I don't trust you, because I don't trust anyone.
I'm an extremely friendly person if you get past my barrier, so go ahead and talk to me. I will never, ever, ever initiate a conversation unless I know that's the only way we'll ever talk (XP), and even then I have to know you first. I'm awfully laid-back and an incredible procrastinator. I've been known to scribble out homework assignments two minutes before they're due (and I once did a huge Latin project in fifteen minutes in the period before).
I love to read, and my favorite authors are John Steinbeck, Amy Tan, Joseph Heller, Douglas Adams, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Charles Dickens. My favorite books are, in no particular order, Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, Douglas Adams' Life, the Universe, and Everything, and John Steinbeck's East of Eden.
I love music. I admit to liking pop. I admit to hating hip-hop and rap to death and beyond. I also admit to not caring about what you think about my music tastes. :)
